Frequently asked questions.

FAQ Hiking:

What does a hike entail?

We take small groups of dogs into the local woods and walk off leash for an hour or more, depending on what service your dog is signed up for. Throughout each hike we practice recall, proper trail etiquette and supervise socialization.

Do you provide pick up and drop off?

Yes!

We service all of Newton for our off leash hikes.

Where do you take the dogs?

How do you determine if a dog can join hikes?

We screen all dogs before they can join hikes. This process includes collecting information about their history, an evaluation, and a trial period.

I’ve never taken my dog off leash before, could they join the hikes?

Maybe? As long as your dog gets along with other dogs, we can assess what training is needed! Reach out for information about what that process looks like.

How old does my puppy need to be in order to join hikes?

Your puppy is welcome as soon as they’ve had all their vaccinations.

Is it the same walker and group of dogs each day?
